Yidouquan township is located 10 kilometers northwest of Guangling County, Datong City, Shanxi Province. It borders Yuxian County and Jiaoshan Township in Hebei Province in the East, Yangyuan County in Hebei Province in the northwest, Huquan town and zuotun Township in the South and Liangzhuang Township in the West. It is a semi hilly and mountainous area. The township is 13 kilometers long from north to South and 9 kilometers wide from east to west, covering an area of 112.8 square kilometers. Douquan township is high in the north and low in the South with barren land. The annual average temperature is 5 ℃, the maximum temperature is 34.7 ℃, the minimum temperature is - 33 ℃, the annual average rainfall is 399.1 mm, and the annual average frost free period is 110 days.
