Dawujiazi town
Dawujiazi Town, subordinate to Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County. It is connected with hongmaozi Township and Bajiazi Township in the East, Yusi Township and Taiping Township in the west, Qijiazi Township and zidutai Township in the South and Fuxingdi town in the north. It covers an area of 256.37 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the five family town was 18741.
In the spring of 1948, dawujiazi district was liberated, belonging to the second and twelfth districts of Fuxin County. In 1958, dawujiazi township was built; in September of the same year, when the commune was transformed, it was incorporated into the patriotic commune. In 1961, dawujiazi was separated from the patriotic commune and established dawujiazi commune. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1998, the township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, dawujiazi town has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in dawujiazi village.
In 2018, there were 24 industrial enterprises and 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters in dawujiazi town.
Historical evolution
In the spring of 1948, dawujiazi district was liberated, belonging to the second and twelfth districts of Fuxin County.
In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was established, belonging to three townships, namely, haltao, zaoliyingzi and daoliban.
