Shihugou Township
Shihugou Township, belonging to Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Bohai town in the East, Yongdian town in the south, qingyishan town in the west, and Kuandian town and dachuantou town in the north, with an administrative area of 194.9 square kilometers.
In the early days of liberation, it belonged to Chengguan Township; in 1983, shihugou township was established. By the end of 2018, 26699 registered residence in Shi Hu Gou township. As of June 2020, shihugou township has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 13 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of shihugou township was 56.88 million yuan, an increase of 65% over the previous year. Among them, the local fiscal revenue was 25.18 million yuan. History of construction
In the early days of liberation, it belonged to Chengguan Township.
In 1949, shihugou district was set up; in October of the same year, it was incorporated into Chengxiang District.
In 1950, it belonged to the first district.
In 1955, it belonged to Qingyi mountain area.
In 1956, shihugou township was added.
In 1958, it was incorporated into Kuandian commune.
In 1960, it was separated from Kuandian town and established shihugou commune.
In 1983, shihugou township was established.

As of June 2020, shihugou township has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 13 administrative villages: Dongping community, Xi'an community, Yangmu village, shangchangyinzi village, shihugou village, liangzhongchang village, Liujia village, xiachangyinzi village, loufang village, yongzigou village, shuanglingzi village, laodaopai village, quluchuan village, liangzigou village and Baoshan Village. The township people's government is stationed in group 2 of liangzhongchang Village (No. 77, East Avenue of Ruan Guochang) )。

Shihugou township is high in Northeast and low in southwest. The landform is half hill and half plain. The main mountains are towering mountains. The highest peak in the territory is Zhengrong mountain, with an altitude of 907.2 meters.

Shihugou belongs to temperate continental monsoon climate, which is characterized by four distinct seasons. The annual average temperature is 6.5 ℃, the average temperature in January is - 13 ℃, and the extreme minimum temperature is - 38.5 ℃ (January 4, 1959). The average temperature in July is 22.4 ℃, and the extreme maximum temperature is 34.7 ℃ (June 16, 1962). The average annual growth period is 156 days. The annual average frost free period is 148 days, the longest is 163 days, and the shortest is 119 days. The annual average precipitation is 1123.9 mm, the extreme annual maximum rainfall is 1615.5 mm (1964), and the extreme annual minimum rainfall is 659.5 mm (1965). The rainfall is concentrated from July to August every year, and August is the most.

The largest river in shihugou township is Pushi River, which flows through six villages including laodaopai, quluchuan, liangzigou, Yangmu, yongzigou and shuanglingzi, with a total length of 27.1 km and a drainage area of 186 square kilometers. The main tributaries are loufang River and Lingxi river.
