Cuijiawan town belongs to Suide County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southeast of Suide County, adjacent to Yihe town in the East, dingxianlong town and zaolinping town in the south, dianzegou town in Qingjian County in the southwest and xuejiamao town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 19.6 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 15.6 km, with a total area of 136 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1573-1620), the surname Cui got its name from living in this bend of the river.
In 1928, it belonged to xuejiamao district.
In May 1935, it belonged to the Second District of the Soviet government of Suide County; in the autumn of the same year, it belonged to the joint protection of the revolutionary township of the Southern District.
In 1942, it belonged to cuijiawan District of Suide County.
In 1950, it belonged to three districts (located in cuijiawan).
In September 1958, the commune was established, with 35 production teams under its jurisdiction.
In July 1984, it was changed into cuijiawan Town, with 35 villages under its jurisdiction.
