Jianyi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dashiqiao City, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Dashiqiao City, connecting Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County of Anshan City in the East and Southeast, Huangtuling town in the south, southwest and West, and Haicheng City of Anshan City in the north, with an administrative area of 150 square kilometers.
Before February 1956, it belonged to GAIPING County; in November 1992, Yingkou county was changed to Dashiqiao City, belonging to Dashiqiao City; in March 1996, Jianyi township was abolished and Jianyi town was established, belonging to Dashiqiao City. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Jian town was 18227. As of June 2020, Jianyi town has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages.

History of construction
Before February 1956, it belonged to GAIPING county.
In March 1956, it was established as a district of receiving officials.
In February 1958, Jieguan district was abolished and Jieguan township was built, which belongs to Yingkou county.
In September 1958, Jieguan commune was established; in November of the same year, Jieguan commune was renamed as Jianyi commune, belonging to Yingkou county.
In September 1983, the commune was transformed into a township, and its subordinate relationship remained unchanged.
In November 1992, Yingkou county was changed into Dashiqiao City, belonging to Dashiqiao City.
In March 1996, Jianyi township was abolished and Jianyi town was established, belonging to Dashiqiao City.
