Shuanglong town

Shuanglong town is located in the south of Xuzhou District, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, adjacent to Gaoxian County in the East, Fengyi Township in the south, Shuifu city in Yunnan Province across the river in the west, Hengjiang town and Fulong town in the north.

It has a total population of 37700 (2017) and an area of 158.99 square kilometers. The main agricultural products are mainly grain, mainly rice, corn, wheat, soybean, sweet potato, rape, peanut, flue-cured tobacco, pepper, cocoon, tea and fruit. The main livestock products are pigs, small poultry, meat rabbits, cattle and sheep, which account for half of the town's economy. The main forest products are bamboo, building materials and bitter bamboo shoots. The main aquatic products are pond, paddy field and fish culture.

1. Ten thousand mu pepper base. Since 2003, Shuanglong town began to build pepper brand, and increased scale year by year to strengthen the agricultural structure adjustment mode. The development of high-quality prickly ash forest is more than 10000 mu. Among the 31 rural villages, there are 8 villages planting 1500 mu of prickly ash. In 2008, the output of prickly ash in iron and steel Village reached more than 70 tons. Every harvest season, there is an endless stream of vendors from home and abroad competing to buy.

2. Litsea cubeba. Litsea cubeba is a rare oil plant which is in short supply in China. In 2003, after the inspection organized by the town government, the plant was planted in a large area in sanliu village. Now it has become the largest planting base of Litsea cubeba in Yibin, covering an area of 1000 mu. It was put into production in 2007 and sold to all over the province.

3. Snow radish. The base is located in sanliu Village (near Yunhua mountain), covering an area of 3000 mu. It produces high-quality white radish with an annual output of more than 10000 tons. The radish has good taste, good color, rich nutrition and no auxiliary production of any chemicals. It is a pure natural food. It has become the first pollution-free plant variety declared and approved by Shuanglong Town, with the registered trademark of "ronghua mountain snow Radish".

1. Scenic Shicheng mountain tourist area: the scenic spot is four or five kilometers away from the center of the town. The road is unobstructed. There are many kinds of flowers, plants, trees and fish. The stone shape is strange and abrupt. There are rare endangered first-class plants in China. There is a dreamlike lake with clear bottom. There are boats for visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Strait. The lake is about 1.5 kilometers long. Besides food and accommodation, the pavilion like farmhouse can also be used for fishing, chess and cards. It is said that the Fugui cave in the area is the place where Zhang Sanfeng once practiced. Every year on June 19 of the lunar calendar, thousands of tourists carry offerings to burn incense and pray for Buddha.

All over the mountain, there are peach orchards, pear orchards, loquat forests and other fruit trees. 3. Shuanglong town is rich in water resources. Huangfu, Laofang, Xinxing and Fengming, located in the pengyin area of the town, are separated from Yunnan by the river. The river is called the Guanhe River. It belongs to the mainstream water area of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and has a large amount of water all year round. There are two power stations built and under construction, one of which is located in yangliutan power station in Shuanglong area, with obvious advantages and good benefits.

Urban construction

The town has three market towns, namely Shuanglong, Huangge and pengyin. Due to the vigorous development of urban construction in Shuanglong Town, the total construction area is 201680 square meters, including 98280 square meters of public building area, 11 hardened streets and 7130 population. The main water supply pipe is 4.2 kilometers long, and most of the streets are 16 meters wide. There are 5 new streets, 2 Huangge new streets and 2 Shuanglong new streets, All the new streets are built according to the requirements of the Ministry of planning and construction. The overall effect is beautiful and elegant. The commodity classification of the planning area is clear at a glance, and the streets are clean.

In June 2006, 800 thousand yuan was invested to build a passenger station, covering an area of 800 square meters; in October of that year, 200 thousand yuan was invested to build a new farmer's market, banning the previous situation of stalling. In 2007, more than 2000 square meters of central hospital was built, and in 2008, more than 1500 square meters of town middle school was added, which laid the foundation for creating a first-class school in southern Yibin County.
