Xietun Township, belonging to Linghai City, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Linghai City, adjacent to Dongguo Town, Panshan County, Panjin City in the East, Youwei town in the south, Jincheng Street in the West and Shishan town in the north, with an administrative area of 56.78 square kilometers.
In 1949, Xietun administrative village, the Tenth District of Jin county, was established; in 1993, Xietun township was changed to Linghai city. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Xie Tun township was 14149. As of June 2020, Xietun township has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Guanghui village.
In 2011, the total revenue of Xietun township was 3.6 million yuan. Among them, the local fiscal revenue was 1.4 million yuan. The per capita net income of farmers is 6000 yuan. History of construction
In 1949, Xietun administrative village, the Tenth District of Jinxian County, was established.
In 1957, Xietun operation area of zaotuozi township was established, belonging to Jin county.
In 1958, Xietun production team of zaotuozi commune belonged to Jin county.
In 1960, Xietun commune was established in Jinxian county.
In 1968, Xietun commune reform committee was established.
In 1980, the Management Committee of Xietun commune was established.
In 1983, Xietun commune was transformed into Xietun township.
In 1993, Xietun township was changed into Linghai city.

History and culture
