Hongtoushan town
Hongtoushan Town, subordinate to Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, bordering on Beisan hometown and nankouqian town in the East, Muqi town and nanzamu town in Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County in the south, wazihuoluo town in Fushun County in the west, baiqizhai Manchu Township and Lijiabao town in Tieling County, Tieling City in the north. It covers an area of 200.33 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of red mountain town was 26568.
In 1964, Hongtoushan town was built. In April 1968, Hongtoushan town was rebuilt into a revolutionary committee. On January 24, 1971, Cangshi commune was established. In January 1972, Hongtoushan Revolutionary Committee was assigned to Hongtoushan copper mine. In 1973, it was transferred to Qingyuan County. On September 21, 1984, it was changed to Hongtoushan township. In June 1999, the township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, Hongtoushan town has jurisdiction over 3 communities and 8 administrative villages, and its people's government is located in Hongtoushan village.
In 2018, there were 45 industrial enterprises in Hongtoushan Town, including 3 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 53 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In the Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, it belonged to Xingjing county (now Xinbin county).
In 1925, the Qing Dynasty was established and the seven districts were stationed in Cangshi (meaning Magpie in Manchu). Since the Republic of China, the administrative region belongs to Cangshi, the Second District of Qingyuan.
In 1964, Hongtoushan town was built.
In April 1968, Hongtoushan town was rebuilt into a revolutionary committee.
On January 24, 1971, Cangshi commune was established.
In January 1972, Hongtoushan Revolutionary Committee was assigned to Hongtoushan copper mine.
In 1973, it was transferred to Qingyuan County.
On September 21, 1984, it was changed to Hongtoushan township.

Hongtoushan town is high in the north and South and low in the center. The highest peak is located in yangwangbi, Liujiazi village in the north, with an altitude of 705.4 meters; the lowest point is located in Dahenan, beizamu village, with an altitude of 129.1 meters.

The extreme maximum temperature is 36.5 ℃ and the extreme minimum temperature is - 37.6 ℃ in Hongtoushan town. The river course in the hydrological area belongs to Hunhe River Basin, with a total length of 13.5 km. The main tributaries are Yanshuigou River, Liujiazi River, beizamu River, Chaoyang River and lanmuqiao river.

In the total population, Manchu and Han are the main ethnic groups, including 14975 Manchu, accounting for 50.97%; 14218 Han, accounting for 48.39%; and 187 Mongolian, Hui, Korean, Zhuang, Buyi, Yi and Xibo ethnic groups, accounting for 0.64%. The birth rate was 1.43 ‰, the death rate was 1.94 ‰, and the natural growth rate was - 0.51 ‰.
