Dashiping town

Dasiping Town, subordinate to Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County. It is adjacent to balidianzi Town, Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, Benxi City in the southeast, Jianchang Town, Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, Benxi City in the southwest, Weiziyu town in the Northwest and Pingdingshan town in the north. It covers an area of 265.01 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Tai Siping town was 19631.

In 1960, the great Siping commune was established. In 1990, it was renamed dashiping town. In 1996, the government of Xinbin County abolished caoben Township, which was put under the jurisdiction of dashiping town. As of June 2020, dashiping town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 11 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located at No. 150, Central Road, dashiping village.

Historical evolution

Qing Guangxu three years (1877), set up Siping Street Jiupin inspection department, governing the big Siping Village, is Huanren County.

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to six districts of Huanren County.

From 1946 to 1949, it belonged to six districts of Xinbin county.

From 1950 to 1959, it belongs to Weiziyu District of Xinbin county.
