Mingyang street, subordinate to Zhuanghe City, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located at the southern end of Liaodong Peninsula, bordering Dazheng town in the East, Yellow Sea in the south, Chengzitan street in Pulandian District in the west, Biliu River as the boundary, and Chengshan town in the north, with a total area of 268 square kilometers.
Before 2000, the area was Jianshan and Mingyang towns of Zhuanghe City. In 2000, the two towns merged into Mingyang town. In May 2008, Mingyang town of Zhuanghe City was entrusted to Huayuankou economic zone of Dalian. At the end of 2011, the total population of Mingyang sub district was 63200, including 6227 urban permanent residents, with an urbanization rate of 9.9%. As of June 2020, Mingyang street has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 16 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located in loutun, Yongsheng Village.
