Wawo town
Wawo Town, subordinate to Wafangdian City, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Wafangdian City. It is adjacent to shabao street and Siping Street of Pulandian District in the East, Wafangdian Zhuhua Industrial Zone in the west, Yuantai town in the South and Delisi town in the north. The administrative area of the town is 97 square kilometers.
In September 1961, wawo commune was set up from Siping commune. In September 1983, the Management Committee of wawo people's commune was renamed wawo Township People's government. In April 1984, wawo township was changed into wawo town. On January 8, 2013, wawo Town, formerly under the jurisdiction of Pulandian City, was put under the jurisdiction of Wafangdian City. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Wa Wo town was 21208. As of June 2020, wawo town has jurisdiction over one community, six administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed at No. 383, Section 1, Yezhou road.

Historical evolution
Before liberation, wawo town was under the jurisdiction of Fu County, and the county seat was located in Fu Zhou City. Wangjia village office is located in Wangjia station.
In February 1946, Xinjin County was founded.
In May 1947, wawo district was under the jurisdiction of Siping District, Xinjin County, with 11 administrative villages.
In April 1956, the village system was abolished and wawo township was established under the jurisdiction of Lianshan District, Xinjin County.
In October 1958, the township system was withdrawn and Siping commune was established.
In September 1961, wawo commune was set up from Siping commune.
In September 1983, the Management Committee of wawo people's commune was renamed wawo Township People's government.

On January 8, 2013, according to the requirements of the reply of the people's Government of Liaoning Province on adjusting some administrative divisions of Dalian City (Liao Zheng Fa [2012] No. 169), wawo Town, which was originally under the jurisdiction of Pulandian City, was put under the jurisdiction of Wafangdian City.
