Dashiwo Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Fangshan District, Beijing, is located at 115 ° 42'33 ″ ~ 115 ° 50'59 ″ E and 39 ° 30'22 ″ ~ 39 ° 38'37 ″ n. It is located in the southwest of Fangshan District, bordering Changgou town in the East, dongxianpo village in Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province in the south, Zhangfang town in the West and Hancunhe town in the north. The town covers an area of 91.56 square kilometers.
In 1949, Dashiwo belonged to three districts of Fangshan County. In 1953, it belonged to the new five districts of Fangshan County. In 1954, it belonged to 5 townships of xiatan, Shiwo, Nanshangle, Beishangle and Shimen in Fangshan County. In 1956, it belonged to three townships of nanshanle, xiatan and Shiwo. In 1958, it was put under the management of nanshanle District of Changgou people's commune in Zhoukoudian district. In 1961, it was transferred to Nanshangle people's commune of Fangshan County. In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1986, it belongs to Fangshan District. In 1995, the township was transformed into a town. In 2001, the town was relocated to Shiwo village and renamed Dashiwo town. By the end of 2018, the population of Dashi town had 39520 registered residence. As of October 2019, Dashiwo town has 24 administrative villages, and the town government is located in the east of Dashiwo village.

Local fiscal revenue was 21.649 million yuan, an increase of 37% over the previous year. The tax revenue was 71.56 million yuan, an increase of 19.6% over the previous year. History of construction
Dashiwo area has a long history. Before the immigrants of Shanxi settled here in the Ming Dynasty, there were many people living there.
In 1949, Dashiwo belonged to three districts of Fangshan County.
In 1953, Dashiwo area belonged to the new five districts of Fangshan County.
In 1954, Dashiwo area belonged to 5 townships of xiatan, Shiwo, Nanshangle, Beishangle and Shimen in Fangshan County.
In 1956, Dashiwo area was divided into three townships: nanshanle, xiatan and Shiwo.
In 1958, Dashiwo area was assigned to nanshanle management area of Changgou people's commune in Zhoukoudian district.
In 1961, Dashiwo area was assigned to Nanshangle people's commune of Fangshan County.
In 1983, Nanshangle commune was transformed into a township.
In 1986, Nanshangle Township belonged to Fangshan District.
In 1995, Nanshangle township was transformed into a town.
In 2001, Nanshangle town was relocated to Shiwo village and renamed Dashiwo town.
