Wusan street, belonging to Hunnan District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Hunnan District, bordering Donghu street in the East, Shenyang Third Ring Expressway in the south, Hunhe Station East Street in the West and Hunhe River in the north, with a total area of 24 square kilometers.
In September 1958, Wusan commune was established; in December 2002, Wusan township was transformed into Wusan street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Wusan street was 166000. Historical evolution
In November 1948, after the liberation of Shenyang City, heiniuquan, Tiantan, shagangzi, Longwangmiao and DAGUJIAZI villages in Hunhe River were divided into urban areas, belonging to Hunhe River Division.
In February 1949, Nanta, Wanquan, Lianhua and Longwangmiao were established. In November of the same year, Hunhe district was abolished, and Nanta, Wanquan and Longwangmiao were directly under Shenhe District. In the same period, Hunhe district established 11 villages, including Yingpan, hunhebao, wulitai, tiejiangtun, Jiaochang, Dadianzi, sanglinzi, Yingchengzi, zhangshabu, Zhangguan and huangnican.
In 1951, Gujiazi village was established, each of which belongs to Zhujia District, Shenjingzi district and baitabao district; in November of the same year, three villages of Nanta, Longwangmiao and DAGUJIAZI were established in Hunbei, which belong to Shenhe District; in December of the same year, each village of Wusan district belongs to Shenhe District, Sunjiazhai District, dashenjingzi District of shenjingzi central district and baitabao District of Sujiatun central district.
In March 1956, Hunhe township was established, belonging to Sujiatun District.
In February 1958, it was assigned to Shenhe District.
In September 1958, the May 3rd commune was established.
In March 1964, Dongling District was established, and the May 3rd commune was assigned to Dongling District.
In October 1983, Wusan township was established.
