Balun bieli Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Alxa Left Banner, Alxa League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the south central part of Alxa Left Banner, with Helan Mountain and Ningxia watershed in the East, jiaergal Saihan town in the south, Tengger Desert in the West and BAYANHOT town in the north, covering an administrative area of 3185 square meters.
In the 20th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1815), balun bieli bage was set up, belonging to Alashan Heshuote banner. In 1985, the town of balun bielimu was changed. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of 9368 people was in the city. As of June 2020, the town has 2 communities and 12 administrative villages.

History of construction
In the 20th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1815), balun bieli bage was set up, belonging to Alashan Heshuote banner.
In 1958, it was abolished and belonged to BAYANHOT.
In 1961, balun bieli commune was established.
In 1983, balun bieli commune was transformed into Sumu.
In 1985, the town of balun bielimu was changed.
In June 2001, Xianggen Dalai Sumu of Alxa Left Banner was incorporated into the army.
