Qianjingou town

Qianjingou town is located in the southeast of Taipusi Banner, Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, bordering Guyuan County, Hebei Province, covering an area of 568 square kilometers. It has 99 natural villages and 37 administrative villages with a total population of 43000. The cultivated land is 212000 mu, including 47000 mu of irrigated land. Historical evolution

In 1900, Catholic priest Bu Tiande (Belgian) bought 1000 mu of land in No. 9 land through the people of Guyuan County. At that time, there were 10 households. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was a district of Baoyuan County in 1950. In 1956, Baochang County merged with Taipusi Left Banner and became qianjingou township of Taipusi Banner (named after "qianjinbao" on the city gate at that time). The soil is fertile and the grain yield of Taipusi Banner is the highest, so it was renamed qianjingou commune in 1960. It was renamed qianjingou Township in 1984, qianjingou town in 2001 and merged with Xingsheng Township and mafangzi Township in 2006.
