Bajiao town
Bajiao Town, subordinate to Lintan County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the northeast edge of Lintan county. It is adjacent to Xinbao (zangbawa) and kangduo township of Zhuoni County in the East, West and south, diaotan township of Hezheng county and Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture in the northeast, Lianlu and Jinggu township of Kangle County of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture in the northwest, and Yeliguan town and Yangsha Township in the southwest. The area is 84.17 square kilometers. In 2018, 5431 people registered residence.
In 1962, the octagonal commune was established. In 1983, it was changed to township. In 2017, the township was replaced by township. In June 2020, Bajiao town governs 8 administrative villages.

Bajiao town is located in the northeastern edge of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau and the western part of the Qinling fold belt. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. Baishi mountain, the highest peak in the territory, is located in the upper reaches of Yehai in Tianchi; yazhakan, the lowest point, is located in Bajiao Township, with an altitude of 2178 meters.

Bajiao River is the largest river in Bajiao town. From Yehai in Tianchi to Yemu River in the upper reaches of Miaohua mountain, it flows through Miaohua mountain village, Zhongzhai village, Bajiao village and yazha village, with a total length of 15 kilometers, a drainage area of 380 square kilometers and an average annual flow of 270 cubic meters per second.
