Yingwusitang Township

It is a township level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Shufu County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the people's Republic of China. It is located in the east of Shufu County in Kashi area. Yingwusitang township is adjacent to akekashi Township in the East, Haohan Township in the west, yangdaman Township in Shule County across yangdaman River in the South and Awati Township in the north. It is 25 kilometers long from east to west and 15 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 111.21 square kilometers. The township government is 33 kilometers away from the county. Yingwustan governs 19 village committees.

Evolution of organizational system

In 1953, yingwusitang people's commune was established. In 1975, it was under the jurisdiction of Kashi City. In 1982, it was transferred back to Shufu county. In 1984, it was renamed yingwusitang township.

The township is located in the Kizil River alluvial plain, with an altitude of 1250 meters, and the terrain inclines from northwest to Southeast. The annual average temperature is 12 ℃, and the frost free period is 217 days. The soil is salty in the West and salty in the East, and the groundwater level is high. The source of water is the Tuman River.
