Taizhimiao town

Taizhimiao town is located in the northeast of Xinshao County, at the foot of Longshan mountain, yuepingfeng National Forest Park. It borders Lianyuan in the northeast, Shuangfeng in the East and Shaodong in the southeast. It is said that "four counties in one dynasty". It is called Yiyi Township and Changtai Township in ancient times. The town covers an area of 128.4 square kilometers (2017). It governs 18 administrative villages and 1 community neighborhood committee, with a total population of 30047 (2017).

Evolution of organizational system

It is said that in the Western Han Dynasty, a prince (Prince Wang, not Prince Huang, Changsha and Hengshan) came here to visit the poor and save the people, and a "Prince Temple" was built in memory of him. In the Ming Dynasty, Shen Taizhi, a famous doctor, came here to worship the king of medicine, and Sun Simiao, a doctor, sought medicine for the local people. Everyone built a "Taizhi Temple" in memory of him. Later, it was built in the village beside the temple, which is called Taizhi temple. During the cultural revolution, the temple was destroyed and used as a place name all the time.

administrative division

on June 13, 2016, the reply of the people's Government of Xinshao County on Approving the merger and adjustment of taizhimiao town's organizational villages (XZH [2016] No. 93) made it clear that taizhimiao town was merged and adjusted from the original 31 villages to 18 villages and 1 community residents committee. The specific consolidation and adjustment situation is as follows: 1. The three villages of shezhong village, miaobian village and lizaoyuan village are merged into a community, and the new community is named taizhimiao community residents committee, and the original shezhong village is selected as the community site. After the merger, there are 32 resident groups with a population of 2981 and an area of 8.69 square kilometers. 2. Sujia village and canxi village will be merged into one village. The new village will be named sucan village, and the village headquarters will be located in the former Sujia village. After the merger, there are 25 villager groups with a population of 1073 and an area of 5.9 square kilometers. 3. Rape village and Lengshui village will be merged into one village. The new village will be named juze village, and the village headquarters will be crude oil vegetable village. After the merger, there are 12 villager groups in the new village, with a population of 853 and an area of 2.5 square kilometers. 4. Fuxi village, Yiwan village and Shangzhi village are merged into one village. The new village is named Fuxi village, and the village department is located in the former Fuxi village. After the merger, there are 24 villager groups in the new village, with a population of 1889 and an area of 4.62 square kilometers. 5. Shangtong village and Zhushan village are merged into one village, and the new village is named Tongjia village. The village headquarters is located in Shangtong village. After the merger, there are 20 villager groups in the new village, with a population of 1654 and an area of 6.05 square kilometers. 6. Combine the production of huangnidong village, Lishu village and town forest farm into a village, and the new village is named Huangli village. The village headquarters is located in huangnidong village. After the merger, there are 29 villager groups with a population of 2665 and an area of 8.88 square kilometers. 7. After the merger, the new village has 18 villager groups with a population of 1403 and an area of 7.21 square kilometers. 8. Majialing village and Xinling village are merged into one village. The new village is named xinmaling village, and the village department is located in the former Xinling village. Taizhimiao town relies on yuepingfeng National Forest Park and other natural conditions, combined with traditional human resources, to build a tourism characteristic town.
