ERGONG town
ERGONG Town, subordinate to jimusar County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of jimusar County, adjacent to Dongwan township of Qitai County in the East, quanzijie town in the south, jimusar town in the West and Beiting town in the north. The area is 290.53 square kilometers. In 2018, 16417 people registered residence.
In 1950, it belonged to the first district. In 1958, he served as the rocket brigade of Dongfeng commune. Since then, Dongfeng commune has changed its name to national day commune, urban commune and Dongfanghong commune. In July 1981, it was upgraded to form er Gong commune. In 1984, the township system was restored. On September 25, 2010, the township was removed to build a town. In October 2019, ERGONG town governs 15 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 4 industrial enterprises in ERGONG town and 7 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
