Ancient town
The ancient town belongs to Fugu County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. It is located at the northernmost end of Fugu County, bordering Longkou Town, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the East, Ma Town and Ha town in the south, Ha town in the west, and Shagedu Town, Zhungeer banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the north. Historical evolution
Because the Western Han Dynasty was Xihe County, the seat of Fuchang County, and the city was built, it was named the ancient city.
In July 1955, ancient urban and rural areas were set up under the jurisdiction of Mazhen district.
In September 1958, it belonged to Mazhen commune.
In September 1961, Gucheng commune was established.
In May 1984, it was changed into Gucheng township.
