ERGONG Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Tacheng City, Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Tacheng City, bordering kalahabak Township and Asir Daur ethnic township in the East, yeyele Township, 162 regiment and woyijiayilao ranch in the south, 163 regiment in the West and Asir Daur ethnic township in the north, with a total administrative area of 450 square kilometers.

History of construction
In 1950, it was divided into two districts.
In 1958, it merged with Tacheng and established Tacheng commune.
In March 1963, the suburb commune was established.

In October 1997, the township was removed and the second industrial town was established.
