Baima township is a township once set up in Kaiyang County, Guizhou Province. It belongs to Shuangliu district. In 1991, it was abolished and merged into the new Shuangliu Town, and then it was not restored. As of 1990, Baima township has 8 administrative villages and 58 villager groups.
History of construction
In March 1953, Baima township was set up, belonging to the first district (Shuangyong District). In October 1958, Kaiyang County carried out the "people's communization" movement, and Baima township was changed into Baima management area, with production brigade and production team under it, belonging to Shuangliu people's commune. In January 1962, Baima administrative area was changed into Baima people's commune, belonging to Shuangliu district. In May 1966, Kaiyang County began to carry out the "Cultural Revolution" movement. In 1967, Baima people's commune was seized of power and the Revolutionary Committee of Baima people's commune was established under the jurisdiction of Shuangliu Revolutionary Committee. In May 1973, the Revolutionary Committee of Baima people's commune was abolished and the Management Committee of Baima people's commune was restored. In April 1984, Baima people's commune was abolished and Baima township was established, belonging to Shuangliu district. The Management Committee of Baima people's commune was changed to Baima Township People's government, which belongs to Shuangliu district office. in November 1991, Baima township was abolished and its administrative region was merged into the new Shuangliu town.

In 1990, Baima Township governed eight administrative villages, with a total of 58 villager groups. Each village is Liangshuijing village, Liuping village, Tongxin village, Chuanzhu village, Reshui village, Baima village, Qingjiu village and Xujiaba village.
