Nanhu Township
Nanhu Township, belonging to Yizhou District, Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Hami City, adjacent to daquanwan Township in the East, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture in the south, Wubao Township in the West and Huayuan Township in the north, 31 kilometers away from Hami City. The area is 9535.9 square kilometers. In 2018, 3040 people registered residence.
Before 1965, Huicheng Township, Huayuan Township and Nanhu Township were merged into a commune. In 1965, Nanhu commune was established. In 1995, Nanhu township was established. As of October 2019, Nanhu countryside has jurisdiction over three administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 9 industrial enterprises in Nanhu Township and 4 Enterprises above designated scale.

In the north is the main vein of Tianshan Mountain, and in the south is Gobi wasteland. Hami basin is the largest faulted basin. It is wide in the West and narrow in the East, with a maximum width of more than 100 kilometers. It extends about 250 kilometers in the area. The terrain is high in the East and low in the southwest. The lowest is Shahr lake, with an altitude of 53 meters.
