Nanyi Township, belonging to Ning County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Ning County, adjacent to Chunrong Township and Xiangle town in the East, Xinning town in the south, xilianwaxie Township in the west, and Heshui County in the north, with a total administrative area of 91 square kilometers.
In Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was Nanyi Jingli; in 1983, it was changed to Nanyi township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Nan Yi township was 21598. In June 2020, Nanyi rural area has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total revenue of Nanyi township was 1.18 million yuan, an increase of 15.7% over the previous year. In 2018, Nanyi Township had one industrial enterprise and two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
