In 1949, the sixth village belonged to the Second District of Huai'an County; in 1984, the sixth village commune was changed into the sixth village. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in sixth villages was 10245. As of June 2020, the sixth village governs 12 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in the sixth village.
In 2018, there were 4 industrial enterprises and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in sixth village.
History of construction
In 1949, the sixth village belonged to the Second District of Huai'an county.
In 1956, the sixth village was set up.
