Minning town

Min Ning town is a joint production of Ningxia radio and TV media group, China film distribution company, Ningxia film group and other units. Dong Ling directed the plot films, which were starred by Ji Ta, Wang Luoyong, Cao Xinyue and Shang Tielong, and were shown on Chinese mainland in December 6, 2018.

The film tells the story of the immigrants from Xihaigu poverty-stricken areas, local cadres in Ningxia and cadres in Fujian who help Ningxia unite as one, care for each other wholeheartedly, share weal and woe, and work hard to build minning town in the Gobi desert under Helan Mountain.

Synopsis

Xihaigu area in the south of Ningxia has been suffering from drought for nine years. Under the pressure of poverty, people there live without dignity and hope. In 1997, the establishment of minning village opened the prelude of minning cooperation, and also quietly changed the fate of a group of people. Young farmer erhei ran to the Yellow River water that the village head promised, led a group of villagers out of Xihaigu and came to minning village at the foot of Helan Mountain. During the hard work and hard work of changing fate, the immigrants such as erhei, the local poverty relief cadres in Ningxia and the cadres of Fujian Province who aid Ningxia united as one, took care of each other wholeheartedly, shared weal and woe, built their homes on the wasteland and turned the dry beach into a golden beach. In the past 20 years, the modern minning town was miraculously built.

Director Dong Ling said that she is very proud to participate in the creation of such a work, and hopes that the work can not only move the audience, but also convey a strength.

The screenwriter of the film said that the film's creation team went deep into minning town and Xihaigu area, had in-depth exchanges with local grassroots cadres who abandoned their homes and settled down in the wasteland, and communicated with plain and unsophisticated immigrants over and over again, in order to vividly reproduce the history of poverty alleviation and resettlement, and show the spirit of Ningxia people fighting heaven and earth.

View shooting

One of the difficulties in the shooting process of the film is the shooting. The original minning town sprang up from the Gobi desert, but after years of development, it is difficult to find a suitable location for shooting in Ningxia. At the beginning of the story, the small mountain village of Xihaigu had the art and photography team inspect more than 20 villages and towns in six counties and districts, and then the shooting site was selected in the deep mountain of Zhangyi Town, Yuanzhou District, Guyuan City, which was officially photographed in May 2018. At the same time, it is necessary to match the scene and special effects on the spot.

From November 30, 2018, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening up, the film will be shown as a key film in Beijing's Broadway and Belle palace studios; on December 1, the film will be officially scheduled for release in national cinemas on December 6; on December 5, the film's Trailer will be released; on December 6, the film's premiere will be held in Beijing's Great Hall of the people.
