Dajing Yao nationality township
Dajing Yao Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Lingchuan County, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Lingchuan County, 60 kilometers away from Lingchuan County. It borders Dongjing Yao township of Guanyang county and Limu town of Gongcheng County in the East, Chaotian Township in the west, Xiling township of Gongcheng County in the South and Xingping township of Yangshuo County in the north, with an administrative area of 264.4 square kilometers. During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty (1796-1820), the jurisdiction belonged to Dongxiang of Lingui County, and at the end of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Dawu township of Lingui county. On August 31, 1993, the people's Government of the autonomous region approved the abolition of Dajing Township and the establishment of Dajing Yao Township, whose administrative region is the original administrative region of Dajing township. By the end of 2017, there were 3824 households in Dajing Yao Township, with a total population of 12660; there were 11 ethnic groups, including Han, Yao, Zhuang, Miao, Hui, Dong, Li, Yi, Mulao, Bai and Tujia, with a Yao population of 5050, accounting for 39.9% of the total population, making it one of the main settlements of Yao in Lingchuan County. By the end of 2019, eight administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Dajing Yao village, and the township government will be located at No. 3 Dajing street.
In 2017, the fiscal revenue of Dajing Yao township was 4.17 million yuan, an increase of 6% over the same period of last year; the total grain output of the township was 4100 tons; the total industrial output value was 108.09 million yuan. In 2018, there were 16 industrial enterprises in Dajing Yao township.
History of construction
During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty (1796-1820), the jurisdiction belonged to Dongxiang of Lingui County, and at the end of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Dawu township of Lingui county.
In the early period of the Republic of China, it followed the system of the Qing Dynasty; in 1933, it belonged to Shihe Township and Zuoxi township of Chaotian District of Lingui County; in 1940, it was withdrawn from the District, and its jurisdiction was called Shihe Township and Zuoxi township.
In 1949, the township was removed and the district was Chaotian district; on November 22, 1949, Lingui county was liberated and the District People's government was established in December of the same year, and the district was still Chaotian district.
In October 1950, the districts were arranged in figures. The jurisdiction was divided into seven districts. In December 1950, it was changed into thirteen districts.
In October 1952, the district was renamed the second district. In June 1954, four townships, Dajing, Xinzhai, Leyu and huangnijiang, were set up under the jurisdiction, still belonging to the second district.
In November 1957, the four townships were merged into huangnijiang township.
From August to September, 1958, the rural area was adjusted. Huangnijiang township was abolished and Chaotian township was replaced. Then Chaotian township was abolished and Chaotian people's commune was established. The area under its jurisdiction belongs to Chaotian people's commune.
In March 1959, Chaotian people's commune was divided into three people's communes: Chaotian, Wangtang and huangnijiang. The area under its jurisdiction is called huangnijiang people's commune. The two villagers' committees of Dajing and Xinzhai are Chaotian people's commune.
On March 27, 1962, the State Council announced the restoration of the organizational system of Lingchuan County, and the jurisdiction was transferred to Lingchuan County. In August of 1962, the organizational system of the district was restored, and huangnijiang people's commune was abolished and merged into Chaotian district.
In May 1966, the district was withdrawn and the people's commune system was restored. The jurisdiction was separated from Chaotian district and Dajing people's commune was established. The organ was stationed in dajingwei, so it got its name.
In October 1984, the people's commune system was abolished, the area under its jurisdiction was renamed Dajing Township, and the office location remained unchanged.
On August 31, 1993, the people's Government of the autonomous region approved the abolition of Dajing Township and the establishment of Dajing Yao township. Its administrative region is the former administrative region of Dajing Township, and its organs are still stationed in dajingwei.
