Maozhuang town is rich in natural treasures and outstanding people. There is the taomugang site in Maozhuang Town, which is located 4 kilometers southeast of the county. It is a Longshan culture and Shang culture site, and named as a provincial cultural relic protection unit by the provincial government. Mao Zhuang township was established in 1963, Mao Zhuang commune was established in 1972, and Mao Zhuang township was re established in 1984.
