Pikou Street
Pikou street, belonging to Pulandian District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Pulandian District, on the shore of the Yellow Sea, adjacent to Chengzitan street in the East, facing Changhai islands across the sea in the south, Qingshui River in the west, Yangshufang street and Tangjiafang street, Xingtai street and Lianshan street in the north, with a total area of 286 square kilometers.
In August 1969, Pikou commune was established by the integration of Pikou town and community. After the abolition of the establishment of the commune, Pikou commune was transformed into Pikou Township, which is divided into two administrative organs, Pikou town and Pikou township. In 1985, Pikou township was abolished and merged with Pikou town. In November 2010, Pikou town was transformed into Pikou street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Pikou sub district was 81700, including 46100 urban permanent residents, with an urbanization rate of 56.4%. As of June 2020, Pikou street has jurisdiction over 9 communities and 8 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at No. 21, west section of Haibei road.

Historical evolution
Pikou belongs to the territory of Yan state in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.
After the death of Qin Yu Yan, he set up Liaodong County, and Pikou was under the jurisdiction of Wen County.
In the Western Han Dynasty, it was changed into Dongda County, with Pikou as its jurisdiction. The Eastern Han Dynasty belongs to Pingzhou and governs Pikou.

In the Ming Dynasty, Liao capital Wei was located in Jinzhou, and Pikou was under its jurisdiction. In the eighth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1375), jinzhouwei was changed to be the commander of Liaodong capital, and the local administration of Pikou was under its jurisdiction. In the 11th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1583), the general barracks of huidao was set up in Pikou.
Qingzhi Haicheng County Jinzhou inspection department, Pikou is still under the jurisdiction. In the 12th year of Yongzheng reign of Qing Dynasty (1734), LvDa set up Ninghai County, and Pikou was under its jurisdiction. In 1843, Ninghai County was changed into Jinzhou hall, and Pikou was under its jurisdiction. In 1899, tsarist Russia settled in maoziwo and planned to build huiziwo city to build the city government office. In 1905, the Japanese invaders took maoziwo as the fifth administrative area of Jinzhou District, and the Jinzhou civil affairs department set up the chenziwo civil affairs branch.
In October 1930, the Department of civil affairs of chenziwo, directly under the Department of Guandong Prefecture, was established.
On August 15, 1945, Xinjin County Government set up huiziwo district.
In November 1946, the KMT established Jinxian County, changed huiziwo into Ninghai Town, and later changed Ninghai administrative office to Ninghai town office.
In August 1950, it was changed into the first district of Xinjin County.
In May 1951, maoziwo town was added to the first district.
In October 1958, maoziwo commune was established.
In January 1962, huiziwo town was incorporated into huiziwo commune.
In August 1965, xieziwo was renamed Pikou.
