Sanzhang town

It was agreed that Daqiao town and sanzhang township should be incorporated into an organic system to establish sanzhang town. The newly established sanzhang town governs 36 villages and neighborhood committees of Daqiao community, with a total area of 112.19 square kilometers and a total population of 34868 (in 2017). The town people's government is located in Xiyuan (the former Daqiao Town People's Government).

On July 24, 2019, sanzhang town was selected into the list of strong agricultural towns in 2019.
