Donggou township is a township under the jurisdiction of Minhe Hui and Tu Autonomous County, Haidong Prefecture, Qinghai Province. Located in the west of the county, 22 kilometers away from the county seat. The population is 8000, mainly Han nationality, and Hui nationality accounts for 23.5% of the total population. It covers an area of 52.3 square kilometers.

There are 11 village committees in Fuxing, fanjiatan, caifenggou, Xixiang, Shanzhuang, Hongyazi, madigou, nanfangzhuang, Zhangjiazhuang, Wayao and tahian. Before the founding of Minhe County, Nianbo County governed donggoubao. After the founding of Minhe County, Donggou township was established. It was incorporated into Bazhou commune in 1958, divided into Donggou commune in 1961, and restored to Donggou Township in 1984.
