Shagou Township

Shagou Township, belonging to Ping'an District, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, is located in the south of Ping'an district. It is located at the East Fork of the upper half of baishen Valley, adjacent to bazanggou Township in the East, liutaigou Township in Gucheng Township in the south, Gucheng Township in the west, Baijia village in Ping'an town in the north and Sanhe Town in the northwest, with an administrative area of 85.2 square kilometers.

By the end of 2018, 11034 people had registered residence in Sha Gou township. As of October 2019, 10 administrative villages in the rural area of Sha Gou were in the rural area.

In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Shagou township was 4953 yuan, an increase of 15% over the previous year; in 2018, there were 15 industrial enterprises in Shagou Township, including one above scale.

History of construction

In 1949, xinzhuanger township was set up along the old system.

In 1958, it was incorporated into Xianfeng commune (later changed to Ping'an commune).

In 1960, it was transferred to Xining city. In 1961, Shagou commune was established.

In 1962, it returned to Huangzhong County.

In 1978, it was assigned to Ping'an County.

In 1984, Shagou township was established, and in August of the same year, Shagou Hui Township was established.

In the south of Shagou Township, the high mountain water with an altitude of about 3400 meters flows through Dazhaizi village, converges with the tributaries of Gucheng Township, and then flows through baishenggou in Ping'an town. At the West Village of Ping'an Town, it flows into Huangshui River, with a total length of 15 kilometers, a catchment area of 122.2 square kilometers, an average flow of 0.822 cubic meters per second, a main stream of 10.4 kilometers long, an average gradient of 42.9%, and an average annual water inflow of 1195.6% 10000 cubic meters.
