Xiaozhuang Town, subordinate to Xupu County, is located in the north of Xupu County, 26 kilometers away from the county, covering an area of 202 square kilometers (in 2019), with a population of 68000 (in 2019). In 1956, it was called Xiaozhuang township. In 1961, it was established as a town. In 1963, it was changed into a commune. In 1983, it was restored to a town. The town has 5 neighborhood committees and 34 village committees. It is mainly agricultural and rich in citrus. Township enterprises have smelters, refractories, cement, pottery and other factories, which are the distribution center of agricultural and sideline products in the northern part of the county and adjacent counties. Dizhuang is a big agricultural town with excellent natural conditions for agricultural production.
