Shangwan Township
Shangwan Township, belonging to Kangle County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Kangle County, adjacent to caotan Township in the East, Taizishan Forest District in the south, Badan Township in the West and affiliated towns in the north. The area is 66.07 square kilometers. In 2018, 22925 people registered residence.
In October 1952, Daqiang was established. In April 1954, it was renamed Shangwan Hui Autonomous Region. In October 1958, Shangwan commune was established. On November 21 of the same year, Kangle county was abolished and merged into Hezheng county. Shangwan was still a commune. On December 15, 1961, the State Council approved the restoration of Kangle county. In April 1983, the township was changed. In October 2019, Shangwan rural governs 14 administrative villages.
In 2018, Shangwan township has 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
