Wujiashan Street
Wujiashan street is located in the northwest of Hankou, Dongxihu District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It is 16 kilometers away from Xinhua road long-distance bus passenger station in Hankou and 19 kilometers away from Tianhe Airport. It is not only the residence of the district government, but also the political, economic and cultural center of the whole district.
Wu Jiashan street is between 30 degrees 38 degrees north latitude, 30 degrees 37 ', and 114 degrees east 07' East, with an area of 8.3 square kilometers and 115067 registered residence (2010). The office is located in Tianyuan street.

Before the reclamation, there were only a few families in the northern foot of Wujiashan. In October 1958, it belonged to Sandian, Wujiashan farm and District Agricultural Science Institute of Dongxihu District. At the beginning of the construction in 1958, Dongxihu Agricultural Management Bureau was stationed in Wujiashan. Since then, a large number of houses were built around Wujiashan, gradually forming a market. Wujiashan new village street was established in 1978. It was changed to Wujiashan street in 1984. It has gradually expanded its scope since the 1990s.
In 1996, it covers an area of 6.7 square kilometers and has a population of 60000. It has jurisdiction over 16 neighborhood committees including dongwuli, kaipingli, Changqing, wenjiawan, ertouwan, Lihuayuan, wuqijie, Wangfeng village, Hongxing Village, Yuanding village, Wuxi village, Tianyuan village, qijiashan new village, wuxingnan village, mujiahu and Dongjian development. In 2004, the office was located in Tianyuan street, with a population of 82000 and an area of 8.3 square kilometers. Geography
"Hugaishan", daoguanshan and qijiashan are connected and collectively referred to as Wujiashan. The street has jurisdiction over 12 community residents' committees, including ertouwan, wenjiawan, qijiashan, kaipingli, Tianyuan, wunanli, Wuxing, Mengjia, Wangfeng, hengchunli, Changqing and Xingyuan. Wujiashan sub district office is located in Tianyuan street, with an area of 8.30 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 12 neighborhood committees: Tianyuan, ertouwan, kaipingli, wenjiawan, qijiashan, Wuxing, wunanli, hengchunli, Changqing, Mengjia, Wangfeng and Xingyuan. Wujiashan street is now the political, economic and cultural center of Dongxihu District, a National Taiwan investment zone and a science and Technology Industrial Park on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The district Party committee and the district government are located at the southern foot of Wujiashan mountain. Wujiashan street was named "Star Town" by the Ministry of construction of the people's Republic of China in 1991, and "double support model Street" in Wuhan City in 1997. From 1999 to 2004, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government successively awarded the title of "civilized Street". In 2002, it was awarded the title of "demonstration site of building civilized community" in Hubei Province. In the same year, it was awarded the title of "Wuhan City Sports Advanced Community" and "Wuhan civil affairs advanced Street" In 2003, it won the title of "city, county and town construction advanced unit".
History and Humanities
According to the records of Hanyang Prefecture, from the Tang Dynasty to the period after the founding of the people's Republic of China, Wujiashan belonged to Hanyang county. Huang mianzhai Ji, written by Nanzong, called Wujiashan "Changle township" when it described officials' inspection of the township in Hanyang county. According to the revised edition of he's genealogy in the Qing Dynasty, "he xuanming, the ancestor of he's family, was a Jinshi in the late Yuan Dynasty." "Daming settled in Nanjing, moved from Nanchang, Jiangxi Province to Macheng, Hubei Province" and "worked in Hubei Province" (county magistrate of Hanyang). He soon passed away and was buried in "changlefan", whose "changlefan" is located at the foot of Wujia mountain (drawn by his brother he's Zuying). In the 25th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, Wujiashan was assigned to Xiakou hall. In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was changed to Xiakou county. In the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), it was returned to Hanyang county. In 1951, it was assigned to Sandian township of Wuhan city. In July 1952, it was returned to Dutou Township, Erqu District, Hanyang County, and later to Matoutan village, Sandian Township, Erqu district. In October 1957, it was the site of Dongxihu reclamation headquarters. In September 1958, it was assigned to Wuhan state-owned Dongxihu farm. Since then, it has been the site of Dongxihu farm Administration Bureau and Dongxihu District People's government. In November 1978, Wujiashan New Village Office (the predecessor of Wujiashan Street) was set up in the District Bureau. In April 1984, with the approval of the provincial people's government, Wujiashan Street Office of Dongxihu District People's government was officially set up.
Community construction
With the deepening of reform and opening up, the pace of construction in Wujiashan area has accelerated. On both sides of Dongwu Avenue, Wuqi street, Wuzhong street, Tianyuan Avenue street, Dongxihu Avenue (Wujiashan section of national highway 107), Yumin street, Yudong street and other streets are newly built (east-west direction); Luhua Road, Lihua Road, qijiashan Road (former sanzhigou), Wuxing Road, Wunan Road (former wuzhigou or Wuhuan Road), Shannan Road (former liuzhigou), Xinghua Road, Wuzhong road are newly built (north-south direction) West Road, Huayang Road and other vertical roads, "7 roads and 9 roads" interweave vertically and horizontally in a chessboard shape. At present, there are 9 bus special lines in Wuhan city directly through Wujiashan, and there are more than 10 bus lines through Wujiashan, with traffic extending in all directions. In 1997, the district government invested 380 million yuan in the construction of municipal facilities, roads and bridges, and green scenic spots. In 1998, it invested 164 million yuan to widen Wujiashan section of 107 national highway, and built a Viaduct with a total length of 2.638 km and a width of 25 M. The green coverage rate of the main road reaches 100%. In addition to the green square of the community, nearly 10 scenic spots have been built in the block, such as the fifth ring water park, the western suburb Mountain Park, the south of the mountain, the north of the mountain, the hillside green square, the landscape star water world and the artificial lake. It is a comprehensive open green square suitable for fitness, recreation and cooling. There are 15 garden style residential quarters, including 3 villas. In the garden, the grass is luxuriant, fitness and entertainment facilities are complete, and the scenery is pleasant. There are more than 30 high-rise buildings with 9-24 floors, including ICBC building, IRS building, Local Taxation Bureau building, power building, Sunshine Building, Seaview building group, and Zhaofeng commercial building. Wujiashan street has revealed the ecological garden style new city characteristics of "city in the garden, people in the landscape".
Economic society
The middle part of Wujiashan block is a commercial and financial district. Seven big banks and more than 30 large shopping malls, supermarkets and specialty stores are located in the area. Such as Zhongnan parity Supermarket, Zhongbai supermarket, Arctic Ocean supermarket, industry and trade electrical appliance city, Wushang parity store, three-star Liuxia Hotel, Wujiashan branch of Wuhan yanyangtian Hotel, etc. Close to the ertouwan of 107 national highway, Wuhan's largest daluokou farmer's market, which covers an area of 7500 Mu and has 22 Commodity trading areas, is built. There are four large vegetable markets in the block. In 2003, there were more than 1900 industrial and commercial households under the jurisdiction of the street, with a total tax revenue of 15.27 million yuan. Large foreign-funded enterprises such as uni president Food Co., Ltd., Wuhan Pepsi Cola Beverage Co., Ltd., Wuhan Yangzijiang Food Beverage Co., Ltd., the largest commodity distribution center of Zhongbai group in central and southern China, Wuhan Wanguo Auto Parts City, Hong Kong Baixin Pharmaceutical Group, etc. have settled in the blocks. There are nearly 200 foreign-funded enterprises, collective enterprises and private enterprises in China, with an annual output value of several billion yuan. There are 2 senior high schools, 2 junior high schools, 4 primary schools, 1 national key vocational and technical school, 1 Teacher Training School (Wuhan radio and TV University Dongxihu branch, Jinshan Industry and trade school, District Community Education College), 1 District University for the aged, and 1 provincial police college, 1 municipal health school, and 1 municipal private middle school. In 2003, there were nearly 20000 teachers and students. There are a district cultural center, a gymnasium, a Xinhua Bookstore and a club, two Cinemas (one of which is 1500), a science and technology building, a national level (county) library and the literature center of the Provincial Writers Association. The District Maternal and child health hospital is located in the southern foot of Daoguan mountain, and the people's Hospital of Dongxihu District is located on the gentle slope in the south of Wujia mountain.
