Lion Village
Shizi Township, belonging to Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Dangchang County, with Wudu District in the East, Xinzhai Township in the south, Lianghekou Township in the West and Zhuyuan Township in the north. It is 108 kilometers away from Dangchang County, with a total area of 195.9 square kilometers.
Before 1949, Shizi Township belonged to Fuping township of Xigu County; in October 1983, it was changed from Shizi commune to Shizi township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in lion township was 6081. As of June 2020, shizixiang has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in shizicun.
The main food crops in Shizi township are wheat, corn and potato; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep, cattle and poultry. In 2018, shizixiang has 20 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Before 1949, it belonged to Fuping township of Xigu county.
In February 1950, Shizi township was established.
In September 1958, Yonghong commune was established.
In January 1980, Yonghong commune was changed into lion commune.
In October 1983, Shizi commune was changed into Shizi township.
