Jiangtai Township
Jiangtai Township, belonging to Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Dangchang County, adjacent to chela Township in the East, Chengguan town in the south, Jiahe Township in the West and Tanzi ranch in Jiahe Township in the north. It is 7.5km away from Dangchang County, with a total area of 56.9km2.
Before 1949, Jiangtai Township belonged to tangwa township of Min county; in October 1983, Jiangtai commune was transformed into Jiangtai township. The population density is 146 per square kilometer. As of June 2020, Jiangtai rural area has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in chingshan village.
The main food crops in Jiangtai township are wheat and potato; the main economic crops are medicinal materials and oil crops; and the animal husbandry is mainly raising pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry. In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Jiangtai township was 1560 yuan.
History of construction
Before 1949, it belonged to tangwa township of Min county.
In January 1950, Jiangtai Township and Chinshan Township were established.
In November 1955, chin Shan township was merged into Jiangtai township.
In November 1958, it was established as Jiangtai management area of Jiahe commune.
In April 1961, Jiangtai commune was established.
In October 1983, Jiangtai commune was transformed into Jiangtai township.
