Donglu Township, which belongs to Yunyang County of Chongqing, is located in the northeast of Yunyang County. It is adjacent to Longdong Township and Hongtu township of Fengjie County in the East, Hongshi town in the south, shuangtu town in the West and Shimen Township in the north. It is 93 kilometers away from the residence of Yunyang county government, with a total area of 92.27 square kilometers.
In the Ming Dynasty, Donglu Township belonged to donglubu in Dongshi of Juren township; in January 1983, it was changed from Donglu commune to Donglu township. By the end of 2018, the population of Dong Lu Township registered residence was 14170. As of June 2020, Donglu township has one community and four administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Donglu community.
The main food crops in Donglu township are rice, corn and wheat; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs and goats. In 2018, Donglu township has one industrial enterprise and 18 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Lidong Lubu, Dongshi, Juren township.
In the middle of Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Donglu Qianjia and Donglu Houjia; in the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Honglu township.
December 18, 1949, belongs to Hongshi township.
In July 1953, Donglu township was established from Hongshi township.
In March 1958, Donglu township was changed into Donglu commune.
In January 1961, Donglu commune established Shimen commune.
In January 1983, Donglu commune was changed into Donglu township.
