Historical evolution
Before April 1999, the seat of the people's government was located at 179 Chengxi street, Pingnan County. In the early days of liberation, huanjuan town was called the seventh district, and later it was renamed Chengxiang District and Chengxiang commune. In May 1983, it was renamed as the ring city commune. In June 1992, it was renamed Huancheng.

In the year of Huancheng Town, 19061 pigs were sold and 53690 piglets were exported. The aquaculture area of aquatic products is 3080 mu, with a total output of 924800 kg.
