Dongchuan town belongs to Zhen'an County, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the northwest of Zhenan County, it is connected with Yungaisi town in the East, Chaiping town in the south, fufu Town, Huangjin town and Xiaochuan town in Ningshan County of Ankang City in the west, and Lianghe town in Zhashui County in the north. Historical evolution
There is a mountain range across the East and west of two Sichuan Road, the people's Government in the east of Sichuan Road, hence the name of Dongchuan town.
Originally named Zhangzhong Township, it is under the jurisdiction of Zhashui County.
In 1958, it was incorporated into Zhen'an County and set up Donghe management area.
In 1961, Donghe commune was changed.
In 1984, it was changed to Donghe township.
In May 1997, Donghe Township and Gaohe Township were abolished and Dongchuan town was merged.
