Born in 1928, member of China Democratic League, Professor of Ophthalmology. In May 1949, he joined the Chinese people's Liberation Army to cross the south of the Yangtze River and won the third class meritorious service twice. He graduated from the sixth Military Medical University in 1951 and worked in the Department of Ophthalmology of the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi. After graduation, he served as a doctor, teaching assistant, director of Ophthalmology, director of ophthalmology teaching and research section, and associate professor in Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital, Jiangxi Eye Disease Institute, and Ji'an branch of Jiangxi Medical College. He is also the editorial board member of Ophthalmology news, new progress in ophthalmology and youth vision protection. He was successively elected as deputy head of ophthalmic genetics group of Chinese genetic society and deputy head of new technology and new therapy group of Chinese Ophthalmic society.

In February 1985, he was transferred to Anyang eye hospital as business director and professor of Ophthalmology. He presided over the preparation of the new hospital site of Anyang Eye Hospital, established the research room of fundus diseases, and carried out the research on fundus diseases. He was successively elected member of Henan Ophthalmology Society, member of Henan blindness prevention Steering Committee, member of Anyang CPPCC Standing Committee and deputy to the Seventh National People's Congress of Henan Province. In 1989, he transferred Puyang City to prepare for the establishment of Puyang ophthalmology Institute. In more than 40 years of ophthalmic medical career, he has actively explored new problems in the field of Ophthalmology. He has put forward two new academic ideas and written more than 40 academic papers, which were read out at national academic conferences and published in 9 professional journals at home and abroad. After more than 20 years of follow-up observation, he identified the large pedigree "congenital macular defect" and "congenital iris albinism" as single gene autosomal dominant disease through pedigree demonstration. The two papers were read out at the first National Symposium on human medical genetics, and were highly praised by professors Lu Huilin and Guo bingkuan. In the exchange with Japanese ophthalmology academic circles, they were highly praised by ophthalmologist Kenji Oshima and recommended to be published in Asian African ophthalmology journals. After more than 30 years of painstaking research with Professor Fu Jing, the "lacrimal duct dilation irrigation catheter" has passed the identification of 10 national ophthalmologists organized by the science and Technology Commission and won the national patent. In 1992, he won the gold medal of "China Boyi Cup" at the China Japan medical conference and China Japan Medical Expo. "Optokinetic nystagmus inducer" and "Lulian trephine" jointly developed by him and Professor Fu Jing have been used in clinic and achieved satisfactory results. His achievements have been valued and rewarded by the party and the state, and he was awarded the title of "national outstanding contribution expert" in 1992. His deeds are included in Henan provincial Party committee's "footprints of the strivers" in the form of reportage. His deeds have been successively included in the dictionary of Chinese contemporary senior professional and technical talents, the dictionary of Chinese scientists and inventors, the list of meritorious persons in the development of national scientific and technological achievements, the collection of Chinese contemporary technical talents in Hong Kong and the achievement record of international contemporary celebrities in the United States, It has gained high reputation in ophthalmology field at home and abroad.
