The town of wolitograk
Wolitoglak Town, belonging to Jiashi County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Jiashi county. It is connected with the first branch of Jiashi general field of the third agricultural division in the East, hexiaawati Township in the south, gulruke Township and hexiaawati Township in the west, and xikerkule town in the north. It is 56 kilometers away from Jiashi County, with a total area of 1533 square kilometers.
From the 28th year of Guangxu (1902) to the third year of Xuantong (1911) of the Qing Dynasty, it was bukhang district; in August 2016, wolitoglak township was changed from township to town and was renamed wolitoglak town. By the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in the town of 50612 was. In 2019, there will be 38 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of the town, and the people's government will be stationed in Baza village. In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise and 43 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in the town.
On May 26, 2020, wolitograk town was selected into the list of strong agricultural towns in 2020.
History of construction
From the 28th year of Guangxu (1902) to the third year of Xuantong (1911), it was bukaile district (including Kelike township of today's Yudai).
From 1912 to 1928, the first year of the Republic of China (1912) and the 17th year of the Republic of China (1928), wolitoglak and yudaikelike merged, known as kalayurigon yudaikelike district. From 1929 to 1933, the villages of wolitoglak and yudaikelike were changed into the District of wolitoglak in keririsu.
In 1958, the district and township system was abolished and the satellite commune was established.
In November 1960, it was assigned to the state-owned Jiashi general field (now Jiashi general field of the third agricultural division).
In 1964, the satellite commune was changed into the commune of wolitograk.
In 1966, the commune of Greco was renamed Red Star commune.
In 1971, the name of the commune was restored.
In November 1984, the commune of wolitograk was changed into the township of wolitograk.
In August 2016, wolitograk township was changed from township to town and was renamed wolitograk town.
