Shengshui Town is located at 126 ° 1 ′ 13 ″ E and 42 ° 28 ′ 4 ″ n. Located in the northeast of Liuhe County, it is located at the intersection of Mei, Liu and Hui counties. It is adjacent to langshao town in Huinan County in the East, luotongshan town in the south, Hengtong town in the West and Xinhe Town in Meihekou city in the north. Liuyang line and Guhai line run through the town. Yingbai line passes through the town. The traffic is convenient.

The town covers an area of 225 square kilometers, with 169000 mu of woodland and 102760 mu of registered land, including 17780 mu of paddy field. The town governs 23 villages, 57 natural villages, 6899 households and 31500 people. The town Party committee governs 33 party branches, including 23 village branches and 863 party members, including 699 peasant party members.

mineral resources

There are mainly loess, bentonite, limestone and mineral water. Guanyao village has a large amount of loess, which is the raw material for burning red pots and flowerpots. Bentonite is mainly distributed in Guanyao, Shengshui and Yuzi villages. It is mainly used for limestone burning in five villages. There are five natural springs in the three villages of Quanyan, Guanyao and dabaihaogou. The water quality is good and pollution-free. It is the source of bottled mineral water and drinks.

The southern part of Shengshui Town is Luotong mountain area, with a forest area of 169000 mu. The main tree species are: poplar, elm, Qiuzi, yellow glass tree, willow, locust, oak, etc. Plantations are: Larch, Korean pine, Scotch pine and other species.

There are many kinds of medicinal plants in the forest area. For example: wild ginseng, Gastrodia elata, Sichuan scallop, asarum, pilose antler, etc.; wild vegetables: fern, celery, etc.; fungi: wild mushrooms, fungus, etc.; forest fruits: shanlihong, walnut, jujube, grape, pear, etc.

The town has 120000 mu of arable land, including 21000 mu of paddy field. The main crops are corn, rice, soybean, sorghum, millet, coarse cereals and cash crops. The total grain output reached 70 million jin annually, accounting for one tenth of the county. In 1997, Shengshui obtained the certificate of AA "green food" issued by the Ministry of agriculture, and established a 1.5 mu maize breeding base in five villages in Luotong mountain, which was identified as the provincial inspection free breeding base. Dabaihaogou village is famous for processing millet.

Water resources

There are four rivers, five springs and more than 300 reservoirs. There are 2 small type I reservoirs and 10 small type II reservoirs. Irrigate 15000 mu of paddy field and raise 1.5 million fish. The main fish species are: grass carp, carp, silver carp, bighead carp, crucian carp, catfish, loach, Wuchang fish.

Luotong mountain is one of the important scenic spots of Changbai Mountain tourism hotline. It can be called "Qifeng, Qiya, qidongtian, ancient temple and gulongtan". The highest elevation of Luotong mountain is 1090 meters, with a length of about 10 kilometers and an area of 6000 hectares. Luotong mountain is a tourist attraction integrating karst caves, cultural relics, precipitous peaks and cliffs, and forest park. The caves include shady cave, Chuanxin cave, shuilian cave and Tongtian cave; cultural relics and historic sites: ancient city wall ruins, ancient weapons and coins; natural scenic spots include Hutou cliff, Yingbi cliff, Mifeng cliff and suolongtan; forest park has dozens of trees, precious herbs and rare animals; new scenic spots include Sanqing Palace, Daxiong hall, qianqiubei and cultural relics exhibition hall.
