Jiajiaping town
Jiajiaping town belongs to Yanchuan County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the northwest of Yanchuan County, it is adjacent to Dayu street in the East, Guanzhuang town in the south, fengjiaping Township in the West and yangjiayuan town in Zichang County in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 21.6 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 13.7 kilometers, with a total area of 160.82 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
In the 11th year of Daoguang reign in the Qing Dynasty (1831), jiajiaping village was chosen because Jia family lived in the flat area of Chuandao, and the town was named after the village.
The Ming and Qing Dynasties belonged to yong'anli.
The Republic of China belongs to yongxingli.
In August of 1937, it belonged to Yongsheng district.
In July 1950, it belongs to the second district.
In March 1955, it was transformed into jiajiaping district.
