The origin of place names
According to legend, in the fifth year of Yuanyou (1090) of the Northern Song Dynasty, Zhao Defang, the eighth king, built a city on this basis to avoid the suspicion of the capital. It was just at the end of Jingshan mountain. Yaochong was named Guanshan because it was named Guanshan.
History of construction
In 618, the first year of Wude in Tang Dynasty, Pingling county was set up near Suyi temple.
In the second year of Wude (619), Pingling county was changed into Suyi county. In Wude period of Tang Dynasty, Suyi County belonged to Yongzhou.
In the eighth year of Zhenguan of Tang Dynasty (634), Suyi county was removed and merged into Liyang county.
In the fourth year of the Yuan Dynasty (1267), it was incorporated into Lintong County along with Liyang county.
In the fifth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1577), Guanshan Town was established as the residence of Fumin hall.
He moved to Lingcheng County in 1730.
In the first year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1796), the county government office was set up.
