Shengge Township

Shengge Township, belonging to Tianjun County, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, is located in the southwest of Tianjun County, bordering kuairma Township in the East, Wulan County in the south, Delingha city in the West and Yangkang Township in the north. In 2018, the area of the township was 2335.54 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 1141.

In October 2019, Shengge village has four animal husbandry committees.

Historical evolution

Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, the area under the jurisdiction of arigou was a pastoral area for hundreds of tribes.

In 1958, it was a production brigade in kuailma township.

In 1962, Shengge commune was established in kuairma township.

In 1984, it was changed into Shengge township.

Shengge township has hilly and alpine landforms, summer Gequ passes from northeast to southwest, and summer Gequ is the center in the north. The terrain is high in the South and low in the middle. Yematan area is located in the south, with an average altitude of 3000-4200m.
