Rier township is under the jurisdiction of Xiaojin County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province.

General situation

It is located in the east of Xiaojin County, the middle reaches of wori River, yijiesi Township in the northwest, Meiwo Township in the southwest, Dawei Township in the East and wori Township in the West. Historical evolution

In 1954, ri'er township was set up; in 1962, it was changed into a commune; in 1966, it was renamed Shengli commune; in 1978, it was restored to ri'er township.
