Yaxi town
Yaxi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Rongcheng City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is located in the north central part of Rongcheng City, adjacent to Xiazhuang town in the East, Yinzi town in the south, Tianfushan town in Wendeng City in the west, Qiaotou town in Huancui District in the northwest and Buliu town in the north. The administrative area is 84.02 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, registered residence in the town of 18405 had been registered.
From July 1957 to March 1958, the district was removed and the township was built, and two townships, cangcun and Xiazhuang, were set up. In August 1958, Tibet village and Xiazhuang Township were abolished and Yaxi township was added; in September of the same year, Weide commune was established; in October of the same year, it was renamed Yaxi commune. In March 1984, it was relocated to Yaxi township. In December 1989, the township was moved to Yaxi town. As of June 2020, Yaxi town has 47 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total revenue of Yaxi town was 7.51 million yuan, an increase of 22% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 3.43 million yuan, an increase of 21.63% over the previous year. History of construction
In April 1940, the Anti Japanese democratic government was established, belonging to the third district of Rongcheng County; in December of the same year, it was changed to the Sixth District.
In the thirtieth year of the Republic of China (1941), the township was set up in the shrinking District, belonging to Yaxi Township in the Fifth District.
In February 1942, it belonged to Weide mountain area.
In September 1950, it belongs to the second district.
In 1951, the township was built under the District, which belongs to the Second District of Yaxi, Dashan, haopo, Buqian, and five townships of cangcun.
In 1955, it was renamed Weide district.
In January 1957, it belonged to Yaxi and zangcun township of Weide district.
From July 1957 to March 1958, the district was removed and the township was built, and two townships, cangcun and Xiazhuang, were set up.
