Huangyang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Chahar Right Wing Middle Banner, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Chahar Right Wing Middle Banner, adjacent to kebuer town in the East, datan Township in the south, guangyilong town in the West and tieshagai town in the north, with an administrative area of 399.13 square kilometers.
In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), it belonged to taolinting, and the Mongolian settlement belonged to Shimu of Xianglan banner; in the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), it belonged to Suiyuan province; in March 1952, it set up huangyangcheng administrative village; in September of the same year, it changed into Huangyang urban and rural; in March 2006, the Rice Grain Bureau township was merged into Huangyang urban and rural, and Huangyang urban and rural was changed into towns. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the city was 22713. As of June 2020, Huangyang town has 25 administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita income of farmers in Huangyang city was 2830 yuan. In 2018, there were seven industrial enterprises in Huangyang Town, including one above scale and eight comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, a large number of Han people moved from the mainland to settle down, and villages gradually formed.
In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), it belonged to Taolin hall, and the Mongolian settlement belonged to the ten Sumu of Xianglan banner.
In 1929, it belonged to Suiyuan province.
In 1948, after the liberation of Taolin County, it belonged to the second district; Dabei Township national area belonged to Xianglan banner and Sumu.
In January 1950, the two banners of Xianglan and Xianghong were merged into Xianglan Xianghong United banner. The Mongolian nationality lived in sumugacha, the United banner.
In March 1952, huangyangcheng administrative village was set up; in September of the same year, huangyangcheng urban and rural area was changed.
In July 1953, Dabei township was merged into Huangyang urban and rural areas.
In May 1954, it was managed by five districts, and Huangyang city was still a township.
In June 1956, Huangyang city was renamed Bayin taogai township.
In May 1958, it was renamed bayintaoshi township; in October of the same year, mingwangquan of tabuhudong Township and Wudong county were merged and changed into satellite commune.
In January 1959, it was renamed huangyangcheng commune.
In May 1962, huangyangcheng commune separated into tabu commune.
In January 1966, huangyangcheng commune separated into two communes, xiyingzi commune and guangchanglong commune.
In May 1984, huangyangcheng commune was transformed into a township.
In March 2001, guangchanglong township was incorporated into the city.
In March 2006, the Rice Grain Bureau township was merged into the urban and rural areas of Huangyang, and the urban and rural areas of Huangyang were changed into towns.
