Changsheng Township
Changsheng Township, belonging to Kedong County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southeast of Kedong County, bordering Yang Jiaxiang of Bei'an city in the East, Guofu forest farm of Baiquan County in the south, Qianfeng town in the West and Runjin Township in the north, with a total administrative area of 234 square kilometers.
During the period of puppet Manchukuo (March 1, 1932 August 18, 1945), Changsheng township was under the jurisdiction of Baiquan County. In 2004, Aiguo township was merged into Changsheng township. By the end of 2018, the population of Changsheng Township registered residence was 36431. In 2019, Changsheng rural governs 15 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Baoan village.
Changsheng township is one of the main soybean and wheat producing areas in Kedong County. The main grain crops are soybean, wheat and corn. The township has grain processing and feed processing plants. In 2011, Changsheng Township had a total agricultural output value of 190 million yuan and a total industrial output value of 550000 yuan, with four industrial enterprises.
History of construction
During the period of puppet Manchukuo (March 1, 1932 August 18, 1945), Changsheng township was under the jurisdiction of Baiquan County. In 1946, Kedong County was classified as the Fifth District.
In 1955, Changsheng township was changed into Xiaoti district.
In 1956, it was changed into Tuanjie Township.
In 1958, the United People's commune was established.
In 1976, it was changed into Changsheng commune because of its duplicate name with the provincial commune.
In March 1984, Changsheng commune was changed into Changsheng township.
In 2004, Aiguo township was merged into Changsheng township.
